Par for the Course…

is his favorite saying. Especially to his wife when they are out on the 9th hole.
She used to laugh but now she sighs and lights her Virginia Slim. Talk about relaxation. A cigarette and golf.

That is how we do it here. It’s always just in line but with a little accent mark over the second syllable. So that you stay grounded.
Don’t forget your heritage.

As long as you’re wearing a shirt, you can play all 18 holes. We don’t care if it is tucked in or is striped or bears the club logo (does our country club have a logo?).

That is how we do it here. It’s always classy but maybe just not like you’d define the word.
Don’t forget who is the backbone of this great nation.

Afterwards, they’ll meet some friends at the “clubhouse” for dinner. Nothing fancy: baked chicken, vegetables and bread pudding for desert. Then it is on to the superstore just over the state line where they’ll buy bulk of everything, just in case.

That is how we do it here. Dang anybody who doesn’t like it. Go back where you came from and don’t tell us no different.
